2 Corinthians 5:7 “Why Walk By Faith?”

For we walk by faith, not by sight.

How do you know God supports you in every godly-focused thing you do? Because you have faith in His Words being true.

How do you know angels look out for you because you are a chosen child of God? Because you have faith in God’s Word.

How do you know everything you do is controlled by God or your free will and nothing is just by chance? Because God says it, and we have faith it’s true.

You’ve never seen God, but you have repeatedly felt the ramifications of not listening to His advice. You’ve felt the warmth of happiness when you did what God wants you to do. That positive feeling is the Holy Spirit, the 3rd God in the Trinity. Your faith is what leads you to learn, listen and follow God’s advice. The Spirit is the God that lives in your heart and guides your every moment as you embrace His presence and direction with your faith.

Why do we walk by faith? Because every time we submit to God and follow His advice our lives get better and better. Every time we relent to evil temptation, we feel like garbage because we live the results of bad actions; what goes around, comes around...every time!

Why do we walk by faith? Because we have faith that making the right decisions for the right reasons leads to a life God supports and blesses, while leading a life of sin and evil just leads to stress, grief and regret. Once you try life both ways, faith becomes easy because you feel the difference in your daily life.

Why do we walk by faith? Because there’s no way we are here by some random chance in the universe, and if God created the world and our existence, then we better listen to His advice. He is your Creator! Show a little respect by trusting His guidance, and you’ll feel the real results of a growing faith! He promises!!

A personal message...

“These devotions were written to my four children, Christian, Mike, Allison and Alex. By the kids allowing these to be shared publicly, our hope is that the devotions will make a positive and eternal difference in the lives of other young people as they mature. Enjoy. Rick Isaacson”
