Proverbs 12:24 “Sow Baby Sow”
Diligent hands will rule, but laziness ends in slave labor.
Each day you have a choice. You can harvest or consume, or you can plant seeds for the future.
Harvesting means you are going to enjoy the fruits of your labor. Everyone enjoys doing that! It’s what makes all the hard work worthwhile! There is no better feeling than working hard, watching your business and seeing it grow. The harvest is awesome to enjoy. But, it takes time and sacrifice before you can enjoy it.
The problem is most people don’t spend nearly enough time planting the seeds of success. It’s hard to make yourself get up and get to work. It’s hard to do PRIORITY work that is tougher to get done, instead of meaningless busy work. It is hard to push your body to exercise and sweat when you’re tired. Yes, planting the seeds of success is work.
But, God says diligent hands will rule. So, plant those seeds six days a week to the very best of your ability; then, enjoy the harvest on the day of rest! Give it your all and go the extra mile. When you’re exhausted, take time to stop and enjoy the harvest. You’ll enjoy that harvest so much more when you planted and nurtured that result yourself!

“These devotions were written to my four children, Christian, Mike, Allison and Alex. By the kids allowing these to be shared publicly, our hope is that the devotions will make a positive and eternal difference in the lives of other young people as they mature. Enjoy. Rick Isaacson”
