Hebrews 9:27-28 “Are You Waiting?”
Just as a man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and He will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for Him.
Yep! We’re mortal and we’re going to die. That’s a scary thought if you’re not 100% certain and assured that you’re saved. But, if you’re forgiven through your acceptance of Christ’s sacrifice, then you have absolutely no fear of the death of your body, because your soul will live in eternity forever.
If Christ hadn’t made an eternal sacrifice for us, we’d have absolutely no chance of surviving judgment. But, with Christ as our savior, we get the right to make a choice to accept Christ’s gift of grace. Once you accept that gift, it is said we’re “born again.” For the most part, our response to being assured of eternal life is a change in attitude, where it is more important to please God than it is to please the worldly opinions that want us to conform to their definition of “correctness.” However, it doesn’t take long to realize the world’s opinions really are hollow, empty and just the Devil’s way to keep as many people as possible going in the wrong eternal direction.
When you study the inspired Word of God, you learn more and more how much God wants us to be healthy, happy and saved. It’s just amazing that God would sacrifice so much, just so we’d have a chance to worship and help Him eternally. All we have to do is accept the gift, and then our appreciation will form us into different and better people. Thank you God!!!
This may be the most complete and straight forward presentation of God’s grace and mercy. Be waiting for Him!

“These devotions were written to my four children, Christian, Mike, Allison and Alex. By the kids allowing these to be shared publicly, our hope is that the devotions will make a positive and eternal difference in the lives of other young people as they mature. Enjoy. Rick Isaacson”
